CareersPursuit AI uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the service secure, remember your preferences, and, only with your permission, measure usage or support marketing.
This policy explains the categories we use, how you can accept or reject optional cookies, and how to change your mind later. It does not treat continued browsing as consent.
Cookie categories
Essential cookies
Essential cookies are always active. They support authentication, security, sessions, CSRF protection, checkout and PayFast payment continuity, fraud prevention where applicable, load balancing where applicable, and storing your cookie preference itself. You cannot turn these off in Cookie Preferences because the product would not work reliably without them.
Analytics cookies (optional)
Analytics cookies help us understand traffic, product usage, errors, and performance. They are disabled by default until you choose to allow them.
Marketing cookies (optional)
Marketing cookies may support advertising, retargeting, attribution, and campaign measurement. They are disabled by default until you choose to allow them.
How we ask for consent
On your first visit (or after our consent schema version changes), we show a cookie banner with clear choices:
- Accept All
- Reject Optional
- Manage Preferences
Closing the banner without making a choice does not enable optional cookies. We do not assume consent from continued browsing.
Changing your preferences
You can reopen Cookie Preferences at any time from the Legal section in the site footer. Preferences are stored in a first-party essential cookie on your browser for this device. Changing preferences later updates what optional technologies may load on subsequent page views.
Duration
Your consent preference cookie is stored for a limited period (approximately thirteen months) and may be renewed when you update your choices. Essential session and security cookies typically last for the duration of your session or for the short periods required by authentication and payment flows. Optional analytics or marketing cookies, when enabled, follow the retention rules of those integrations.
Third-party technologies
If we enable approved third-party analytics or marketing tools after you consent, those providers may set their own cookies or similar technologies under their policies. CareersPursuit AI cannot automatically delete data already transmitted to third parties; withdrawing consent stops future loading of those tools from our site and clears known first-party optional cookies and storage keys where configured.
What we do not do
- We do not preload optional tracking scripts before consent.
- We do not treat “close” or continued browsing as acceptance of optional cookies.
- We do not require you to accept optional cookies to use core features such as login, registration, billing, or PayFast checkout.
